T O P I C R E V I E WJBoeI wanted to get your opinion on this space station hardware both from an investment and collectability standpoints. Is this something "unique" or special?" I normally would purchase such items from the collections point of view, but I have to consider other factors now. Thanks again, I really appreciate and value your opinions.I really don't know much about the item and did a brief search and came up with the Amphenol Corp and additional site for information.Go4LaunchThis would not make a good an investment piece. It's just a flight-qualified connector tool from a NASA contractor. If it had flown on the ISS it would help its value, but frankly, probably not by that much. The station is made up of millions of parts; this is just one of them that didn't fly. Now, I do like the sticker, which has a certain cool factor, but is it worth $30? JBoeThanks again for the advice. I did try to negotiate a lower price. I too like the sticker.TykeanautYep, that is a very cool sticker. But expensive with the postage too.Robert PearlmanI have another bagged and tagged Amphenol Corp. piece (a "protective cap") with the same "Critical Space Station Hardware" decal and inside (the bag is translucent) a tag attached to the cap that reads "Critical Space Station Hardware: Do Not Remove Until Installation."The tags are definitely the attraction.
